We had a grand time walking from Penn Station to Columbus Circle, and back again.
Cocktails and dinner took place at The Film Center Cafe on 9th Avenue.
We stopped at the Columbus Circle Mall in the Time Warner Building.
We were lucky, it didn’t rain a drop while we were out, but it was humid. I kept looking down at my shoes to make sure moss wasn’t growing on them.
We walked along Broadway and there’s nothing like seeing a brightly lit Times Square in the distance.
There’s all these huge LED screens up, so the signage is constantly changing.
We shopped a bit on 34th Street, and then headed for the Heartland Brewery.
The combination of walking, talking and shopping can really work up a thirst.
Heartland offers sampler trays of six different lagers and ales.
We had everything form Smiling Pumpkin to Stumbling Buffalo.
How many toasts did we do? At least a half dozen.
It wasn’t the best light for pictures, but I did get a few for you guys.
The huge star ornaments are from the Mall lobby. I love the way they changed colors.
I found the huge wall sign on 34th Street near 8th Avenue.

Humid in the city in January? Wow, maybe there is something to this global warming thing.
Yes…Johnny Depp anytime!!!
