I worked the store alone today, and it was a circus from the minute I opened the door. It started to rain just a little while ago, and that drove people back indoors.
I’ll be heading back to the city in about a half hour or so. Thank goodness I keep a couple of umbrellas here in the place. It’s getting messy out there.
My theatre buddy got tickets for another show tomorrow night; I can’t wait.
Sunday, my day off, I’m doing lunch and a movie with another friend. We’re thinking The Last King of Scotland.
The way I see it is that it doesn’t matter if the shows are good or bad. If they’re good we get to sit around, and talk about what we liked best. Especially repeating great lines – who doesn’t love a great line?
If the shows are bad, well then we get to sit around and tear ‘em apart. And do the old I would have played that scene this way.

You are so lucky to live in NYC. I would kill to see some of those shows!
