Our parking lot is filled to capacity, but there’s no customers in here or in any of the other stores on our little strip.
People love to slide into one of spots then hightail it across the street to the coffee bar or one of the restaurants. There’s a huge new garage around the corner that charges a buck an hour to park. But I guess that’s too much like doing right.
I spoke to my daughter just a little while ago; she’s moving today. Actually her husband was driving the van over to the new place; she was shopping for shower curtains and such. Just thinking about moving makes me tired.
Hey here’s a customer.
Gotta get into high sales gear.

My mom is currently moving, and I agree, it’s tiring just listening to the process. Maybe when sales are slow, you could put on a nice valet-y kinda hat, stand at the entrance of the lot, and ask all those illegal parkers for 5 bucks to enter? That’ll learn them.
