Last night I opened a new Yahoo Group. I’m in Starbucks right now, and as soon as I finish this post I will work on the group’s description. There are a few lines there for now, but I want to replace them with something with a bit more voltage. The group is for women who blog. It’s called She Who Blogs, and I will be inviting all the wonderful women bloggers who I read to join me. And I hope they’ll invite all the women whose blogs they visit to join too. I
From where I’m sitting I can see the bathroom door, and the neverending line in front of it. Whoever is in there is taking their sweet time; there’s a woman in a black & white sundress at the head of the line, clutching a passion ice tea, and looking like she about to tear that door off it’s hinges with her teeth. Must have had one too many refills I guess.
I took today off. Yes, I know there has been a lot of that going on, but I needed to take care of an errand that’s been put off far too long. It’s done, so no need to worry anymore. And I’m not taking the holiday weekend off.
I’m loving the view right in front of me. There’s a man just sat down with the Sports Thursday section and a hot & sour soup from the Chinese restaurant. Did Starbucks hang up a public space sign or what?
See you all later.

Hi Frances!
and thank you for the comment you left…you’ve really brightened up my day!
I can see that I have a lot to catch up on here. I love the new pictures you’ve posted…and this new group for women bloggers sounds great…is it by invitation only?:) That would really get me sticking to a schedule, if only to check on and read what everyone else was writing about! (Just kidding!)
Most of all, I just love your new NEO…I’m positively green with envy. Do you know, it’s the exact thing I’ve been wanting for months??
Actually, it’s not, because I’d never heard of it and had to go and look it up just now; how embarrassing is that; but it’s true- I now realise that it’s the very thing that’s been missing from my life for the last year.
It’s definitely going on my birthday list. The Husband’s just told me that he’ll buy it for me when my first novel is published. Somehow I think he’s missing the point.
Good to be back and enjoying your writing. I’m looking forward to the picture, too!
Take care Frances. And keep us posted about the group!

There is always a long line for the restroom at starbucks, especially in the city. Always someone who wants to tear the door down with her teeth, for me it’s my five year old who is doing the potty dance the whole time.
I love all the pictures on the side bar, they are fabulous!
