Saturday Afternoon Update…

Getting the companion website together for our Yahoo Group.

It’s just 8 members, but there’s so much positive energy, I’m lovin’ it.

Managed to get my Saturday Photo Hunt up, the theme was shoes.

Sunday Scribblings is next; the theme is spicy.

Hubby got me a  summer membership to the neighborhood pool/gym.  He knows how much I’ve missed my water aerobics.  I think I’m the only person at the place who does works out in the pool for hours, and yet can’t swim.  What can I tell you?  I just don’t like putting my head under water.  Thank goodness for floatation belts.

Today for the first time ever I left my cell phone at home.  I realized while the bus was crossing the bridge; the driver didn’t look like he’d turn the bus around for me ;)

Fortunately my friend has a spare they rarely use, so I have that to use just in case.

It’s amazing.  Ten years ago I didn’t have or even want a cell phone.  Now I can’t go two steps without a phone, and it better have a full QWERTY keyboard so I can text too!

Sending good vibes your way :)

  1. I had to comment because I share your fear of sticking my head under water!!!! It’s an actual full fledged phobia for me, I’m very cautious about the activities I do around water because of it. I can swim though, as long as I keep my head above…but I can’t “really” swim, due to that.

One of my biggest accomplishments ever was that I snorkled in Mexico a few years ago. It took lots of convincing to stick my face in the water the first time, but then I fell in love with it. Even so, they wanted me to go scuba diving and I told them they were CRAZY! haha…

  2. I don’t swim either, just can’t imagine myself anywhere near a pool anytime.

Would love to join know when your companion website to the group is up, I would definitely join then.

P.S. how come you don’t place your blogforth and your meme section blog as links on this blog?
