It’s an actual full fledged phobia for me, I’m very cautious about the activities I do around water because of it. I can swim though, as long as I keep my head above…but I can’t “really” swim, due to that.

One of my biggest accomplishments ever was that I snorkled in Mexico a few years ago. It took lots of convincing to stick my face in the water the first time, but then I fell in love with it. Even so, they wanted me to go scuba diving and I told them they were CRAZY! haha…
