]]> By: qualcosa di bello http://blogjem.com/2007/09/21/just-past-midnight-friday/#comment-14761 Fri, 21 Sep 2007 15:46:47 +0000 http://blogjem.com/2007/09/21/just-past-midnight-friday/#comment-14761 yeah! yeah! yeah for you frances! celebrating every night for a week…that is just what i did for #41 back in august. my 40th last year was one of those in-the-toilet situations…best flushed from memory for reasons unrelated to the age itself (i love this age!!!). so in retaliation for the previous year’s events & my own lackluster ability to handle them, i declared *birthday week*…7 whole days of i-am-large-&-in-charge-around-here!! hubby & the kids were a bit cockeyed regarding my announcement, but they got over it and into the spirit of it. we had SOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!! they even threw in a few surprises of their own.

in that week i saw the most beautiful double rainbow, met some awesome new friends, ate fab food every single night, counted copious blessings, took unparalleled photos, read til my eyes ached, teased everyone mercilessly, & smiled my face off.

ain’t life grand?!
