Since my maiden name was DeMartino, I just had to stop and take a few pics of this shop on 9th Avenue.
I went in and introduced myself to the manager.  He in turn introduced me to several generations of the family via wonderful old photographs on the walls.

    I was SO disappointed when I had my first glimpse of Little Italy. It was like only two blocks long!!!

    Frances, I’m always so enthralled by your daily adventures. Something as simple as walking by a shop, and you turn it into an opportunity to meet some folks and learn some history. I love it!
