The names of all my grade school teachers:
1st Sister Dorothy - She gave me a beautiful doll dressed as a bride. It came with a clear plastic carrying case shaped like a bell.
2nd Miss Roundtree - I did not like her.
3rd Sister Regina - Very tiny. I can still see the wrinkles in her cheeks that fascinated me.
4th Mrs. Redmond - The best one of all. She encouraged me to write and draw all the time.
5th Mirs. Souffrount - A very delicate and unmemorable woman.
6th Miss Gulnick - A tragic figure. Her fiance was killed by a drunk driver; she never married.
7th Mr. Thomas - He was from India, and he made me his class assistant.
8th Mr. Flynn - The school fashion plate.
I did.

Thanks for stopping by 2nd cup of coffee and leaving a comment on TT. I’ve enjoyed perusing your blogs. You live in such a different world than I do. I’m in Indiana. I have never ridden a subway. Have never seen so many of the the things you talk about. Thanks for the fun diversion. I like it here in Indy, but I like “visiting” other places, too. I’ve just never made it in person to New York.

I had such horrible teachers I’ve blocked their names from my mind.
