“Sorry we sold the last one yesterday.”
It was obvious he had been saying this all day long.
And of course, the display model was up with a sales sign on it.
“You can buy the display model – it’ll be an open box of course.”
Sure I’m dying to pay you a 150 bucks for something hundreds of people have been pounding and pressing on for a week. Could you empty the waste paper basket into the bag as a little bonus too?
Other answers from salespeople all around town included:
“We haven’t received any yet.”
“Yo Eddie you know a Flip is? This lady here is lookin’ for one”
“A what?”
If I can’t find one by Monday I’ll have to order online. I prefer to buy electronics in physical locations; it makes returning things easier. You can also purchase extended warranties at the major stores which is also pretty cool.
So as I said the quest continues…

oooh….a flip online? I have an affiliate link!
I bought my daughter one for Christmas. You are making me think I need to get it out and play with it.
Amazon.com has them. Let us know how well it works–I need a camera to record my kids dance recital in June, and this is more in my price range than others I’ve seen!
Flip! Flip! Flip! Flip!
I bought mine at Amazon. I know you want to buy in person, but… FYI.
I think that my blockbuster video carries them! Maybe yours does.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hope you finish yours in time for the party. Even if you don’t, stop by for a visit, since we’ll be having giveaways!
OK, where have I been hiding and why have I never heard of this great little object til now? Thanks for showing me this, now I HAVE to have one.
You think YOU’RE having a hard time….try living in Canada and getting one! I’m hoping the person who ordered mine receives it soon and it will be on it’s way. Sheesh, these things better be good for all the trouble!
