re: new reading glasses & old friends

The New Reading Glasses

Picked up my new reading/computer spectacles, and things are looking quite clear around here.

The frames are a two tone dealio – mauve & a neon yellow.  Believe it or not they work with my hair and eyes.

Old Friends

Several old friends/acquaintances have been coming to mind lately.

There’s one I especially want to call.

He actually called me about 4 and a half years ago.  My grandmother had died that same morning, and I had just left the funeral parlor, so it wasn’t a good time to talk.

We ran into each other near Times Square about three years ago, and had a nice long catch up chat.

Now I’m thinking it would be nice to have another.

He had some qualities that reminded of my brother.

It might look kinda weird just calling after so much time.

But then again how many great things do we miss out on by not calling?

Ciao for now.

  1. Just call!

I’ve mailed the friend I wanted to see, but.. no reation.
Maybe he doesn’t use the mail any longer.

I found out he planned to come to europe to live here again, so I hope I can trace him in one of the professional registers.

So I can only say: just call.

Sometimes there’s a lot of meaning behind the feeling we want to see someone.

    Hugs
