on the edge…

I’ve been off over the counter pain relievers for over three months now.

I just didn’t like the risks associated with many of them.

This week’s chilling cold is really putting me to test.

My right ankle and knee are one big owwww.

I’ve used three pounds of epsom salts in three days.

An 800 milligram tablet of Motrin or a couple of  Aleve would be so…nope can’t won’t.

I’ll sign myelf welcoming healing energy from all precints.

  5. Hi..Have you tried fish oil capsules and glucosamine capsules.. I have had a knee reconstruction *ouch* and the spouse has broken every bone in the top half of his body (several times) *double ouch* and they are a fantastic alternative to the standard arthritis anti inflammatary drugs…

thanks for coming over and visiting…

    cheers Kim..

  7. Hope you feel better soon and that spring isn’t too far off — sounds like some warmer days might help.

  13. I hope you feel better soon Frances. I haven’t sworn off over the counter meds alltogether, but I’m not a big fan of taking them either. I usually wait until the aches and pains are pretty unbearable before I succumb.
