- Someone owes you money and start a fight over a trivial matter. Does being mad mean you no longer have to pay me back?
- Parents who choose to have children’s birthday parties at totally unsuitable restaurants. Ever try to listen to a friend’s troubles while two year olds crawl around under your table? Not easy. The parents are perfectly happy because the place makes a great mojito.
- Supermarket Sheriffs These are the folks who count everyone’s items in the express checkout at the supermarket. Their whole day is made when they can loudly announce that someone is trying to get away with 11 items in a 10 item lane.
- People who must stand right by the subway doors for 15 stops, even though the car is nearly empty. You practically have to fight your way onto the train.
- Bus and cab drivers who talk on their cell phones while driving. When I’m onboard they end that call.
- Customer service people who tell you anything to get you off the line.
- No Internet service Just seeing that written on the screen is irritating.
Guess you can tell a few of those happened this week right?
Tomorrow’s list will be a bit cheerier I promise.

qualcosa di bello
ooooooh! #2 really gets my goat nowadays, especially since we would forgo those great restaurants back in the small-child days. now that we can get out sans children, i feel a bit selfish, but my tolerance for that type of thing is quite low & indirectly proportional to the menu prices

Supermarket Sheriffs – is that what they’re call? I remember I had 11 items and this lady make it seem like she was doing me a favor by letting me slide, like I would owe her something just for that. I don’t bother to go to her line when I see her but now I can’t remember what she looks like. Oh, well.
Hope you have a great weekend.
