I have to tell you my squirrel story now! We have “dumb” squirrels at the cottage. This one particularly chunky squirrel decided to jump from one branch to another tree…..well, he tried and landed KER THUMP and BOUNCED off the top of my jeep before bouncing onto the ground and then scampering off….he must have been hurtin’ for awhile!!!

My own back yard will be FULL of them, but they scatter when they hear the door open because they associate it with a dog coming out to chase them. The door makes them run now, even if the dog’s not coming out.

Even though they are some of the FATTEST squirrels I’ve ever seen in my life, they’re still WAY too quick for me! ;-)
