I spent my teen age years sitting in New York’s retro houses watching old classic films. Hitch’s were among my favorites. Whenever I saw one I imagined having tea and chatting with the Master of Suspense.
Alfred Hitchcock died on April 29th 1980. I was 18, standing in the juice section of my dad’s grocery store, when the announcement came over the radio. Such a sense of loss, the possibiliy of tea with Hitch gone.

Funny how sometimes you can remember exactly where you were,
or what you were doing … when you hear someone’s died?

Rear Window is one of my all-time-favorite movies. I love it.
Dial M for murder is good too.

I’m kind of glad The Birds isn’t on there. The Birds is so overrated.
My fav is North by Northwest. It’s not creepy like most of the others, but it’s a little more grandiose.
