Okay, so the other day I bought a practically new Sidekick ID for practically nothing.
It’s a phone that mostly young people use, and I was going to give it to a friend as a gift.
I went to a T-Mobile location to buy a prepaid sim for it. A teen-ager saw it and said, “You’ve got an ID? You never see old people with those.”
Just ten minutes before I was telling a friend I was too old for it. Hearing the kid say it inspired me to learn the phone inside out. I just finished talking with a T-Mobile Sidekick Team rep. They answered all the questions I put together this evening while going through all the various menus and functions.
I’m going to be the coolest 46 year old on my block.
Waving at you all from New York

Wow, funny story but rude kid! Thanks for visiting my blog! I never did the running dance either, when watching Different Strokes. LOL I grew up in Queens and boy do I miss Central Park. I love Tampa but I do miss being able to just hang out and walk around Manhattan.

Good for you Frances! I would do exactly the same thing. Who says you’re old !! You’re as old as you feel.
Well that kid still has to learn and didn’t we look at people above 40 as being old when we were so much younger. At least I did!
