Making this list made me want a big glass of chocolate milk.
- Dragnet- One of my all-time favorites. Poker face Joe Friday and Bill Gannon were total opposites in perfect sync with each other. I lovde the show’s opening when Joe tells us the weather in LA, and what department he’s working today. The ending are great too, since you get to hear the outcomes of the trials.
- The Original Honeymooners - It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve seen those episodes; I laugh like it is the first.
- I Love Lucy - When Lucy said, ”I’ve got an idea,” anything could happen.
- Batman - With the real Batman - Adam West.
- All In The Family - especially the episodes from the early years. I had a friend who used to tease me that I told stories like Edith Bunker.
- Maude - Remember “God will get you for that Walter.” ? I used to love the inevitable door slamming in each episode.
- Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom with good ole Marlon Perkins. Bonus - It looks like it’s back on the air after all these years. Check the link for info.
- The Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights.
- The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour - The skits were so great, and Cher used to dis Sonny so bad n the opening every week.
- The Mary Tyler Moore Show - Ted Baxter & Georgette. Lou Grant with his ever present bottle of scotch. Rhoda & Phyllis.

I loved all in the family, my dad was just like Archie!, maude, and Lucy! I still watch Maude sometimes it’s on TV land, and All in the family too! I still watch Lucy, and I love all her movies! I’d love to have the I love lucy box set of dvds! I watched them all from the library when I was off work for a month. It was the only thing that took my mind off being unemployed!

All in the Family was so far ahead of its time. I can remember my dad laughing so hard. I loved Gunsmoke and The Big Valley.

They don’t make them like they used to, do they?
I also liked the Lucy Show - the one with Lucy, Viv, Mr. Mooney and all of the kids. They are hard to find.
