I was happy that The Mist stayed so true to most of the story, but both times I watched it the ending of the movie left me reeling.

I was so sure they would sugar coat the ending of the movie so they could have a &quot;happily ever after&quot; (as they often do change the more morbid parts of Kings novels when they are put to film).

I&#039;m still not sure if I like the ending of the movie or not.]]></description>
