He's my all-time favorite author and I have all the books in hardback and paperback. (dorky, huh?) "The Stand" is my favorite, having read it several times over the years. I just watched "The Mist" last night. My favorite story come to life in a movie is "The Shawshank Redemption". Love, love, love that movie. I have read all of his books too. I'm pretty sure I've read all of his novels and short story collections by this point. No big surprise there, me being a King addict) I was happy that The Mist stayed so true to most of the story, but both times I watched it the ending of the movie left me reeling. I was so sure they would sugar coat the ending of the movie so they could have a "happily ever after" (as they often do change the more morbid parts of Kings novels when they are put to film). I'm still not sure if I like the ending of the movie or not. I’ve read them all and then some. I’m pretty sure I’ve read all of his novels and short story collections by this point. No big surprise there, me being a King addict)

I was happy that The Mist stayed so true to most of the story, but both times I watched it the ending of the movie left me reeling.

I've seen "my" movie Carrie but haven't read the book, and It and Misery were my favorites ~ I read It when I was a teenager and it took me forever to get thru it.
