Ciao for now.

Today I decided to tidy up my email folders. One is just for registrations. It’s amazing how many websites I’ve joined over the last 8 years. Some I use frequently, others have been neglected for quite a while.
I’ve spent the last hour or so revisiting them.
One of them is Squidoo; you can find some amazing info over there on just about anything.
I remember joining because I wanted to work on a lense. What’s a lense? Well, let’s say you’re an expert on digital photography, you’d create a lense or webpage about the subject. People who come aboard the site would find your page through the search option.
Some folks are actually earning money with it. I thought creating a page on a subject would help me learn more about it. Bet it would work if I would just make the darned thing.
Here’s one about mindmapping - a subject I’m interested in - http://www.squidoo.com/Tony-Buzan-s-Mind-Mapping-Thle-Ultimate-Thinking-Tool
Back at you soon.

Mothers Day Brunch wuth my favorite mother/daughter team was amazing.
My meal: fried green tomatoes with blackened shrimp, boneless fried chicken, cheese grits, corn muffin with coconut peach sauce & chocolate bread pudding with bourbon sauce.
Afterwards I took an amazing walk along Convent Avenue.
More pics coming soon.
Everyone have a wonderful day.

1. what is your favorite time of the day?
I like the afternoon and the wee hours of the morning.
2. who is your hero?
Mother Teresa

That varies. It only took a few minutes of Desperate Housewives to make me a diehard fan. I prefer not to watch weekly episodes; I rent whole seasons at a time and have marathons.

Photography & Blogging
5. how long have you been blogging?
Must be about 7 years now.

Teaching workshops and seminars

Any place that’s got my size!
8. do you have any bad habits?
I am the Queen of Overdo
9. do you feel younger or older than your current age?
I am happy to be 46, most days I feel a lot younger.
10. what is your dream vacation?
I live in New York and I explore it like a tourist.
till next time…till next time…
1. Where and when were you born?
I was born December 12th 1961 in New York City.
2. Do you have siblings? If yes, tell us more.
My only brother Joey passed away at age 26 in February, 1990. We looked just a like, though he was 13″ taller. Our voices were very similar; grandma could never tell us apart on the phone. We were very close when we were little, and then again in our twenties. My daughter is named for him.

The only time I can remember being taller than Joey
3. What are your parents’ names?
Nickie & Annie
4. Did you (or do you) know all four of your grandparents?
I only knew my father’s mother who raised us after we lost our mother.<
My grandmother Josephine (1910 - 1993), my grandfather Joseph (1888-1961) & my favorite Uncle Peter (1943-1993) at his first communion.
5. Do have children? If yes, tell us about them. If no, do you want them?
I have one amazing daughter who just turned 25 this past week. She has been happily married for four years.
6. Do you still live in the general area that you grew up in?
I have lived on Manhattan’s Upper West Side all my life.
7. Do you have cousins? If yes, are you or have you been close?
I know I have a few scattered about the country. My side of the family tended to be loners, so we were never close.
8. How often does your family all get together?
Whenever time permits. I’ll be going to visit my daughter in her new apartment this coming month. Totally looking forward to it.
9. Is your significant other close to your family?
My husband was very close to my family. Unfortunately everyone is gone now, but we have great memories.

If you click on the memoir in my categories you’ll see more old family photos.
So I’m all set to post some of yesterday’s photos only to discover I didn’t upload them to my flickr account.
They’re on my computer at home, so that’s that till I get back to the city. I’m hanging out in Jersey today.
Two more domain names were added to the list today. The first one came to me while I was on the bus. Go Daddy is available on .mobi, which means I can try name after name on my phone till I find one that’s available. The second came to me while I was eating cheese.
Yesterday I photostrolled from Manhattan’s South Street Seaport to 34th Street. The mall at the Seaport had a As Seen On TV Store - I love those places.
So how are all of you?
