proud to be a tree hugger

This tree which stands on Houston Street here in Manhattan is a favorite of mine. The snappy building behind it is new. It was constructed with mind boggling speed like all buildings are here in NYC.

Isn’t it wonderful that they did not take down this natural work in progress?
