simply relaxing, relaxing simply

I wish I could be as unself-conscious as the woman next to me on this long bench.

She has stretched herself out, head resting on her backpack to enjoy the amazing breeze here at The Columbus Circle Fountain.

Two women on my left debate on men and love. One is a teacher, the other a social worker.

The teacher is very patronizing. The social worker very patient.

Many people are just sitting quietly.

I am both looking out and within.
