Central Park Photostroll

106

So Sunday past I hit the open roads of Central Park.

103

There’s no better way to get downtown.  The view from the reservoir is always lovely even on an overcast day.

102

I used the zoom to grab this shot.  This turtle had quite an air of majesty about him (her?)

The San Remo, home to many stars, is behind these azaleas.

091

Tai Chi anyone?

It’s fun to sing outloud in these tunnels.

086

The Museum of Natural History behind a really cool tree.

And of course my favorite spring time flowers.

  1. The azeleas and daffodils are beautiful…I had no idea they were even out yet! None around here ‘cept for a bright yellow something or another that might even be a weed, there’s so much of it.

But you just can’t call this spring, not with weather like today. And yesterday. I’m bundled up in my wool scarf and fur boots again and trying to stay out of the rain. Sniff.

Your shots are beautiful. I so love the city.
    Bella :)

(rushed over from tweetdeck, of course. What did I do before?!)

  3. I like the turtle. Slow but smart! all can watch but no one can get him. An island all to himself.

  5. I watched this movie with Jodi Foster called the brave one…good movie no one saw it. that tunnel reminded me of the opening scene, it was sad.

    Turtles! in the city!

  7. I like those shots, somehow I always get lost at Central Park, it’s so huge

btw: the pics at my leftover blog isn’t taken in Central Park, it’s take at City Hall park near J&R – I don’t think it’s the San Remo building – but it does look the same, doesn’t it?
