from my seat on the 1 train 06.19.09

Morning Blogospherites,

How the hell are ya?

I’ve been on the train earlier than usual lately, so there’s more passengers sharing the car with me. When the train stops, all you can hear is the combined music from all the headsets. Folks, the music is way too loud, I fear for your hearing.

This train car has advertising covering all the available wall space as most do.

One, however, has a quote: If we could first know where we are and whither we are tending, we could better judge what to do and how to do it. – Abraham Lincoln

So this leads to ask myself: Frances you know that at this moment you are sitting in the last car of the uptown 1, but where are you really?
