Just looked at my previous post. Forgive the typos, but it was a bumpy ride.
Made a quick stop in Little India for mango lassi and pakoras. Now I’m headed back to the Isle of Manhattan. I have two bars left on the phone, so let’s see how much moblogging milage I can get.
When I was in the car earlier my friend and I were looking for vanity plates. We always find at least one good one every trip. Tonight we saw several: PHD MOM, AAA7777, BELIKME & 1TRUJEDI. If I ever learn to drive I’m getting WATCHOUT or BBW61.
In my previous post I wrote about wanting a book on Facebook. It’s quite the intriguing bit of social networking. I tried MySpace a while back, but honestly most people use too much bling on their sites. Facebook is great because your updates and photos are what makes your site.
I also wrote about starting a new blog. It’s over at Posterous, and I am linking it with my Facebook notes. It’s for selected mobile posts and reviews of this and that.
It has a basic clean theme, and I’m also putting on those constantly updating badges for it on a blog called me. I know I’m blog crazy, but I just couldn’t resist. My blogbuddy Shelly over at http://thiseclecticlife.com has one and it’s way cool. Shelly herself is way cool. She’s a professional story teller. If you have a minute stop in and visit her.
The train has just submerged. In just a few stops we’ll be at Times Square. The two bars are holding out quite well.
Okay now we’re heading uptown on the 1 train. I have a law student to my right studying a handout from one of his classes. On my left is a sullen young man chewing gum. The little boy across from me is adorable in an oversized Rangers jersey. His dad has on a Rangers cap. They are sitting close talking about the game. It’s like a bit of Norman Rockwell on mass transit.
Okay we have one bar, but my stop is next. I’ll send this off as soon as I am above ground.
Much bloglove to all.
G’nite
