The original plan was to sleep in, photostroll and go to a book store. None of that happened, but are we really surprised?
I woke up early, couldn’t get back to sleep, had a nice hot bath, got out the laptop and worked on my blogs for a while.
A series called ‘The Genius of Photography’ was having a sort of marathon, so I put it on for background and inspiration.
The phone rang, and it was an old friend from faraway. Don’t want to tell you how many daytime minutes I used. LOL thank goodness I have a second line with 2000 minutes all to me.
The rest of the afternoon was telephone calls and Internet.
I’m tapping this entry out on my way to the Times Square area for Thanksgiving Dinner with my favorite mother/daughter team.
You know I downloaded a Gratitude Journal onto my I-phone a couple of days back. It’s an adorable little app, only 99 cents, and the goal is to list five things that you are grateful for each day. I do this right before I settle down to sleep, and it’s good to think about positive things before you rest.
I did two memes over at a blog called me today: Thankful Thursday & Thursday Challenge.
Did some many memes this month, even though I hadn’t planned on it. Actually I’ve always wanted to do a meme of my own, so it’s good to see what’s out there. And there are some very interesting and fun memes out there. Hopefully inspiration will tippy toe behind me, and smack me with her magic wand or hammer or whatever.
It’s dark out already, but I’ll get some nice pics of the Square’s bright lights.
