It’s feels so good to be snug and warm at home stretched out on my futon.

It’s a week into NaBloPoMo, and it’s going quite well.

Yesterday my online friend Michelle Fabio came into New York with her mom for the afternoon. If check out the December 5th post here, you’ll find a pic of her and a link to her blog.

Michelle currently lives in Calabria, Italy with her amor P, and a few four legged friends.

She was a practicing attorney in PA,USA, who took a trip to Italia to discover her roots. A gust of wind came along, and her jacket went flying. A handsome single Italiano scooped it up, and the rest is a romance novel **sigh.

We met up on 6th Avenue, and strolled over to Bryant Park. We spent the rest of the afternoon at Celcius, a two story eatery overlooking the park and ice skating rink. This is a mobile post, but I will put up some photos as soon as I am on my laptop. I would be on my laptop now, but I am having an incredibly lazy moment due to an extremely large serving of Ziti Bolognese.

Michelle’s friend Gina joined us later in the afternoon, and we were quite the merry quartet.

Michelle is a member of She Who Blogs, so we did talked blog. Her mom Mary and I talked ‘mom.’ We also talked sweets – seems she makes some mean candy and cookies.

This is the fourth time I have met a member of our blogging group. The first was Candid Karina, the second Andrena who is the subject of the December 6th post here at blogjem, the third LJ and now Michelle. Hopefully more will make their way to NYC.

I’ll be back tomorrow with some photos.

Oh and my ‘nice person’ of the day is Angelo, a chef in a nearby restaurant, who surprised me with a complimentary Pasta Bolognese. Why? Because he overheard me say I love Bolognese Sauce. Thanks Angelo!

Wishing that each and every one of you gets a lovely surprise.

Ciao.
