Today’s topic is “Bloggers you would like to meet in person.” I like mostly writing/fiction/poetry, photography and humor blogs. Those are the ones that attracts me the most. All of them are run by wonderful bloggers who takes their time in posting about things that makes me laugh, teaches me and occasionally changes my mind about many, many things. I am always stuck by their kindness and their appreciation of life.

There are many, many bloggers that I would like to make friends with in person but I haven’t the guts. I’m indecisive about many things and this is one of them. But let’s imagine that I am willing to meet these people. While you’re at it, pretend Queen‘s Somewhere over the rainbow is playing in the background (it’s one of my favorite interpretation of that song).

So, who are these that I might like to meet and make friends with? It would be a long list if I have the time to go through my blogroll but I don’t have that kind of time or patience so I am going to list a few in no particular order. And if it sounds like I am endlessly praising them, it’s because I admire each and every one of them. Please visit these wonderful bloggers and tell them I send you. (And, sorry for my excessive use of the word, wonderful.)

Sarah at Knitting the Wind

I don’t have a very good memory so I don’t know quite sure when I discovered Sarah’s blog but I’m pretty sure I’ll be visiting her blog even if she just writes one word post. That is how much I like her writing and I’m not just talking about her wonderful poetry. She just puts words together in such a wonderful way that even if she writes about the most ordinary things, it always sounds so melodic to me. And I love the phrase, “Knitting the wind.”

Selma at Selma In The City

I just love Selma’s sense of humor, her sense of self and her writing style. Her fictions are well written. Sometimes they take you into whole new worlds. I like that she is honest about her emotions and her life.

Wicked H at Avert Your Eyes

I love Wicked’s sense of humor. I like humor blogs a lot and will gladly visit Wicked’s blog any time I need a good laugh or a reminder when things gets a bit too stress.  And she was the first blogger to allow me to design her blog without much hesitation. I am thankful that she is still using the design and that she actually liked it.

Chris at A Brighter Touch of Haze

Even though Chris doesn’t blog as much, I still find him and his blog fascinating. He’s a musician, which I admired greatly because I can’t play any instruments whatsoever. I first ‘met’ him through Selma’s blog and find his music so poetic and quite sweet. He’s also a chef and from his cooking blog, he seems like a professional to me. And if I have the nerve, I would ask for guitar and cooking lessons from him.

Carrie at Koehmstedt

I throughly admired Carrie. She is a designer and a mom. I don’t know if I should say, graphic designer but I think that might be more accurate. Her blog designs are just so wonderful and I always like the colors she uses. Carrie is a fan of Twilight which I can never be a fan of but I think that shows there is more to her than just being a mom and a designer. Plus she has such a great sense of humor.

Abraham/Speculator at La Vie Graphite

I greatly admired Abraham’s words. Every post he writes seems to be fill with some deep understanding of the human spirit or the human will. His words might seems to be ordinary at first, a second read will greatly change that. He has a great infinity in putting his thoughts together. I find I would always find more to think about when I read his blog.

Mmm at Hot Toast & Jam

Mmm just recently took over Create Tuesday which I started but didn’t quite put enough effort into it because of time. Mmm was kind enough to take over which he bestowed the new name, Creative Tuesdays. He made Creative Tuesdays so much better and I really admire him for his ability to get people not only to participate but to really encourage them to share and create. I don’t know much about Mmm but from his blogs and his words, I think he is kind gentleman who is quite a creative creature. His illustrations are just wonderful.

Frances at Blogjem

Even though Frances is my photo buddy at The Daytrippers, I’ve never met her. I think it’s been almost a year or two since I’ve known her. I wouldn’t say we are kindred spirits but I think it’s pretty close. Though our personalities are complete opposites, we share the love of New York, photography, blogging and other creative projects. She is a generous soul who is willing to share her time and her blog with me.

There are many, many more bloggers to add to the list but I think I’ll leave it at eight. Please visit Frances at my blog in which she is guesting for this week and check out who she picks.
