Reasons why I love/started your blog

Today’s topic is “reasons why I love/started my blog.” I love blogging and the freedom to post whatever I like without having to consult anyone. There are many reasons why I started my blog(s) but mostly they are outlets for my various creative selves. I love taking photos, writing fiction & poetry and draw. I still consider all my blogs as hobbies or side projects. Even though it seem I might just steer myself into a career with one of them, I don’t know if that’s the direction I would want to go. Below in picture form are reasons why I started my blog(s):

a place for all the things that I captured with my camera

a place to showcase some of my drawings and creative projects (above are two of my favorite drawings that I have done and yes, I love placing umbrellas in my drawings)

a place to share my writings and my love of fiction and poetry

Here’s a poem that I wrote a while back that sort of says why I blog:

it was only yesterday I misplaced my thoughts
they flew themselves here onto this blog
blossoming into new words and images
captured only for a small moment in time
but lasted long enough to be read by someone

  1. Well, Lissa – you do have many strings to your bow. A very talented, lady… you are. I have always enjoyed your poems and photos… and, how wonderful to have the opportunity to connecting with you via the blogging platform. Thanks for sharing your gifts. ps Btw, thank you for all your support in my poetic efforts this month. x

  2. You really are multi-talented. I would be very surprised if one of your skills didn’t translate into a career for you.
